Who builds Instalvo
Instalvo is developed by a solo founder, in Belgium. That is useful information for you: it says both what you can expect and what you cannot.
Where the trade knowledge comes from
The founder's father has worked in the installation sector for more than twenty years. That is where the understanding of the trade comes from: not from a market study, but from repeated conversations about maintenance contracts nobody can find any more, certificates filled in that evening, and invoices sent three weeks too late.
It is also where the first customers will come from. A network in the sector is no guarantee of product quality, but it is a guarantee that the problems we are solving are real ones, described by people who live with them.
Instalvo is designed, written and hosted in Europe, by somebody who lives in the same country and under the same rules as its users. The Walloon certificates, 6% VAT, the reverse charge, Peppol: these are not edge cases for later, they are the normal cases.
What to know before committing
A small outfit has real advantages and real limits. Here are both.
- The product is not out yet. The first release is targeted for early 2027 and pilot companies get access before that.
- There is no round-the-clock support team. There is somebody who answers personally, which is faster in most cases and slower in some.
- What you ask for has a real chance of being built, because there are not five layers between you and the person writing the code.
- We only cover one regulatory region to start with, and we say so on every page it affects rather than in a footnote.
