Features

Technician scheduling: one week, every technician, one board.

The planning board is where due maintenance, urgent repairs and booked installations meet. When it lives in a paper diary and two phone calendars, that is where the day gets lost.

How it goes today

Three calendars, a whiteboard and a telephone.

  • The urgent repair comes in by phone and jumps the queue, without the whiteboard knowing anything about it.
  • A technician finds out tomorrow's address by text message, the evening before.
  • At ten o'clock nobody in the office knows whether the nine o'clock job has started.
  • The customer has received nothing and calls to ask whether anyone is actually coming.
  • A due maintenance visit simply drops out, because it was on no calendar at all.

What Instalvo does

The work and the people doing it, in the same place.

The week view shows one technician per row. Due maintenance comes up from the contracts, repairs are added during the day, and each job type carries its default duration, which keeps the week realistic. The customer gets a confirmation when the job is booked and a reminder the day before, in their own language.

  • Week view, one technician per row, drag to place a job
  • Maintenance, inspection, repair and installation, each with its default duration
  • Contract due dates appear as work to place, not as one more alert
  • Confirmation email on booking and a reminder the day before, in the customer's language
  • On the way, in progress, finished: the office sees where the day stands without phoning

What exists, and when

Instalvo is in development. The first release is targeted for early 2027, and pilot companies get access before that. Here is what is planned for it, and what comes after.

First release
  • Week view with every technician side by side
  • Drag a job onto a person and a slot
  • Default durations per job type
  • Confirmation on booking and a reminder the day before
  • Status coming back live from the technician's phone
Later
  • Route ordering by geographic area
  • Customers booking themselves, into slots you offer
  • Synchronisation with an external calendar

Common questions

Does this replace my shared calendar?

For the work, yes: Instalvo's planning board is the one for jobs, with the customer, the installation and its history attached, which a general-purpose calendar cannot carry. Synchronising with an external calendar is not in the first release; it is planned after it.

How many technicians can the board show?

Instalvo is built for companies of four to thirty people, so a field team of that size fits legibly on one week view. Beyond that we have nothing to promise yet.

Can a technician change their own schedule?

The roles decide. A technician sees their day and changes the status of their own jobs; moving work around the board stays an office action. That is exactly the kind of setting we want to discuss with pilots, because no two companies work the same way.

What language do the confirmations go out in?

In the customer's. Every customer has a language, and their emails and documents follow it, independently of the language your own users picked for the interface.

Leave your email to hear when Instalvo is available. Want to go further? The first pilot companies use it free for three months and decide with us what gets built next.
