Common questions
I have almost no maintenance contracts. Does Instalvo still make sense?
Yes, but let us be honest about the balance: Instalvo is built around recurring maintenance, and a company doing pure call-out work will mostly use the job and invoicing side. That is already most of a plumbing company's admin. If that is you and the product interests you, it is a good reason to be a pilot: it is the only way that half of the product gets built with you.
Is the 6% VAT wording written automatically?
The wording matching the chosen treatment is added to the invoice, in its current version. Checking that the conditions are genuinely met, namely the age of the dwelling, its use and who the invoice is made out to, stays your responsibility.
What about night and weekend call-outs?
A job can be created and closed from the phone, without going through the office. Running an organised on-call rota, with rotation and automatic surcharges, is not in the first release.
