Software for air conditioning installers
In air conditioning the problem is almost never a single installation. It is a site with fourteen units, three of which have been replaced, and a list of services that has to be finished before the first hot day.
What makes air conditioning particular
The seasonal peak and the number of appliances per site change the nature of the admin entirely. A tool that assumes one boiler per house does not hold up.
- A single commercial customer can have several sites and dozens of units, each with its own serial number.
- Everyone wants their service in the same week, the week of the first real heat.
- The technician has to know which of the building's fourteen units the contract actually covers.
- The list of filters, refrigerants and quantities lives in a different notebook from the planning board.
- A breakdown in midsummer has to jump ahead of planned maintenance, without that maintenance disappearing.
What Instalvo changes for an air conditioning company
The customer, site, installation structure is made for exactly this: one customer, several addresses, and at each address any number of units handled separately.
- One contract can cover twelve units across three sites, naming each one rather than writing "all the aircon".
- Due dates come up per unit, so a replacement mid-year does not shift everything else.
- The technician sees on their phone which of the building's units are part of this visit and which are not.
- An urgent breakdown slots into the day's planning and visibly pushes what it displaces.
- Readings and photos stay attached to the unit concerned, not to the building in general.
The installations you look after
Each type has its own job duration, its own checklist and its own service rhythm. They cannot be treated as one category.
- Residential splits and multi-splits
- VRF and VRV systems in offices and shops
- Ceiling cassettes and ducted units
- Chillers and cold water sets
- Balanced ventilation and air handling units
- Commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and display cabinets
Common questions
Can I manage dozens of units on one site?
Yes, it is one of the cases the customer, site, installation structure exists for. Each unit is named and followed separately, and a contract names the units it covers rather than a whole building.
How do I handle the June peak?
The product does not create capacity, but it stops capacity being lost: due dates come up before the season rather than during it, and the board shows the whole team's full week, which makes it visible when that week is full. It is one of the things we want to calibrate with companies who actually live through that peak.
Are leak checks tracked?
The job and its readings are recorded and filed under the unit concerned, which gives you the history. Dedicated tracking of the fluorinated greenhouse gas obligations, with their own thresholds and due dates, is not in the first release.
